Two people are admitted with COVID-19 in the Grey’s Anatomy Season 17, Episode 5 trailer

The Grey’s Anatomy Season 17, Episode 5 promo is here, giving us a look at the next storyline. Two people are admitted to Grey Sloan Memorial with COVID-19, and one of them is a doctor.

As Meredith’s life hangs on in the balance, there will be another doctor to fight for. Koracick contracted the virus, although he refused to believe it at first. However, by the end of the previous episode, it’s clear that he’s suffering from symptoms.

In the promo for the next episode, he’s going to be brought into the hospital because of his symptoms. Just how badly will he suffer while there?

Many fans believe that he is going to die. We learned that one of the doctors was going to be killed off if Grey’s Anatomy Season 16 was able to continue the way planned, but we had no idea who. There were plenty of suspicions based on previous storylines, but now it looks like Koracick may have been the intended victim. COVID-19 wouldn’t have been the original cause, but this would offer a look at just how dangerous the virus is.

Bailey also has to deal with a hospital admission on Grey’s Anatomy Season 17, Episode 5

There is a second admission in the promo for the episode. Bailey’s mom is brought into the hospital.

This isn’t all that surprising of a storyline. During Episode 4, Bailey explained to a couple of people that she’d arranged for her mom and dad to move into an assisted living facility in Seattle. It was supposed to be a chance for them to see each other more, but then COVID-19 hit and now she can’t see them.

However, we know that the assisted living centers and nursing homes have been among the worst affected. Older people have been the most affected by the virus, especially at the beginning of it. That’s where the show is right now, especially with the mention of murder hornets by Jo during the episode.

Bailey is going to have a lot on her hands during Grey’s Anatomy Season 17, Episode 5. She’s going to be terrified, and this could set off her OCD symptoms once more. Let’s hope she has the support, especially when it comes to Ben being the one to bring his mother-in-law into the hospital.
