Miller isn’t happy about Sullivan in the Station 19 Season 4, Episode 4 promo

Sullivan is back with Station 19, and Miller isn’t happy. Here’s a look at the Station 19 Season 4, Episode 4 promo to see what’s to come.

At the end of the last episode, we learned Sullivan is still allowed to be a firefighter. However, he’s been demoted all the way to the bottom. He’s the “new recruit,” as Andy calls him in the promo for the new episode.

More from ABC

While the majority of Station 19 will be happy that Sullivan still has a job doing what he loves, there’s one person who is angry. Dean Miller has a problem with the decision.

What is Miller’s problem on Station 19 Season 4, Episode 4?

It’s going to be hard enough for Sullivan. He’s gone from captain to battalion chief down to rookie. He’s got to work with the guys he used to be in charge of. Somehow, he’s got to fit in with the team, despite being known as a drug addict and thief.

Most people are going to work with him on all this. Sure, there will be some trust issues, but they know he’s a damn good firefighter. He is getting help for his addiction, which all started because he was injured in the line of duty.

Miller is the one with the problem. In the promo, he lets his feelings known. This is a guy unhappy with Sullivan being back, not wanting to work with a drug addict and thief.

Of all the people angry, shouldn’t it be Ben? After all, Ben’s dream has been destroyed because of Sullivan’s actions. Yet Ben knows that Sullivan didn’t do it on purpose. And Ben knows that he’s made mistakes in the past (major ones) and can’t judge someone else from theirs.

Miller is one of the most judgmental people in the firehouse. This isn’t the first time he’s been rude to people because of his personal feelings. Just look at the way he called Jack’s friends “rescues” in the previous episode. Sure, COVID and firefighting itself is stressful and scary, but Miller needs to stop taking it out on the people who will have his back when there is danger.

But, it’s just another day at Station 19.
