The top 10 most popular Christmas movies on Dec. 1, 2020
- Happiest Season
- Elf
- Fatman
- National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation
- Love Actually
- How the Grinch Stole Christmas
- Home Alone
- Die Hard
- Scrooged
- The Christmas Chronicles
Elf, Home Alone, and How the Grinch Stole Christmas are three movies I believe will never leave the top 10. These are classics! But while I’m not surprised to see them on the list, I was not expecting to see Happiest Season there.
Happiest Season is a Hulu Original starring Kristen Stewart and Mackenzie Davis. It’s a sweet movie, and I can see why it was so popular on the week of its release, but it shouldn’t have taken all the holiday cheer.
If you are ever not sure which Christmas/holiday movie to watch, check out Reelgood’s Holiday Movie Roulette. You spin it and it picks a movie for you! These can be streaming on Netflix, Hulu, Pluto TV, and more — you decide which streaming services Reelgood can select from.
