Tenet: When can I watch the Christopher Nolan movie on demand?
By FS staff
Ready to watch Christopher Nolan’s sci-fi movie Tenet? You’re not alone, friends. And this mind-bending epic is set to be streamable sooner than you might think. So let’s get ready for it.
When it first came out, the exact plot for this one was very hush-hush and the intrigue surrounding Tenet has continued from there, especially since not everyone has seen it yet. As reported by Variety, Nolan’s latest film–which originally hit theaters in September–grossed nearly $350 million globally in two months.
Still, taking all things into consideration, critics aren’t sure just yet if that’s a “disappointing” or “decent” box office figure for the movie. After all, Tenet was released during the COVID-19 pandemic.
As noted in Decider, the film was initially set to make its big debut on July 17, but had to be pushed back three times.
Rotten Tomatoes’ Critics Consensus describes the film as a “visually dazzling puzzle for film lovers to unlock,” adding that Tenet “serves up all the cerebral spectacle audiences expect from a Christopher Nolan production.”
Now that Nolan’s mysterious movie is about to be streaming, those who were not able to go to the movie theater finally have their chance to tune in. And luckily, we can do so from the safety and comfort of our couch. So the real question is, when and where can we watch this one?
More on that in a minute.
What is Tenet about?
In this Nolan film produced by Warner Bros, a secret agent “embarks on a dangerous, time-bending mission to prevent the start of World War III.” And it’s definitely a don’t-blink-or-you’ll-miss-it kind of movie. So keep those eyes open! The buzzed about film stars John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, and Elizabeth Debicki.
When and where to watch Tenet
According to Decider, Tenant will soon be getting its official Video On Demand release just in time for the holidays. The movie is set to arrive on 4K, Blu Ray, DVD, and VOD on December 15, 2020.
