Bravo Team is broken and struggling on SEAL Team Season 4, Episode 3

Caution: There are spoilers for SEAL Team Season 4, Episode 3.

We knew it was going to be difficult watching SEAL Team Season 4, Episode 3. Bravo Team isn’t the same team we once knew.

Jason Hayes is no longer Bravo 1, Ray Perry has to split his time between Bravo Team and other work, and Clay Spenser is on desk duty. Sonny Quinn is most definitely not coping well, and things came to a head during the episode.

More from CBS

Sonny and Jason learned the truth about the letter. Ray opened up about Clay taking the heat for something he did. However, there was always some hope that Clay could serve his time and rejoin Bravo Team. And now we learn that Clay will never join his brothers again. He’ll operate but not with Bravo Team.

That was breaking point for Sonny. He blames Ray, even though Clay was the one who chose to take the fall. Sonny’s struggles with his team being broken apart affected the redemption training exercise, pulling Bravo Team out of operational duties for the time being.

Will SEAL Team Season 4, Episode 4 bring the team back together

Bravo Team needs to get back on track. Everyone needs to get on the same page. That isn’t going to happen until Sonny comes to terms with everything that’s happened.

Sonny is a destructive person. When things don’t go his way, he lashes out. He can’t “adapt and overcome” as well as the others, and hates that more team members than necessary are off the team. This attitude has always been a flaw in his character, making him believable and somewhat relatable.

When he can’t control something, he lashes out hoping to gain some sort of control back. He went a little far taking it out on Pepper’s name, though!

That doesn’t stop him from worrying about team members, though. The ending to SEAL Team Season 4, Episode 3 saw the cafe in Tunisia Ray was sitting in explode. We don’t know what’s happened to Ray yet, but things don’t look good.

Ray is Bravo Team’s brother. Even if he was out on a political mission of his own, he doesn’t stop being a brother. Sonny, Clay, Jason, and all other members of Bravo Team are going to be worried. They’re going to want to do something despite being grounded.

This could be what brings them all back together. It could also put Clay and Jason back on the team even though they’re not meant to be there.

If this doesn’t, then I don’t know what will bring Bravo Team back together. There’s no putting everything back in Pandora’s box.

Next. Clay has grown considerably on SEAL Team. dark
