When will Nurses Season 1, Episode 3 air on NBC?

The 2020–2021 season has been the year of Canadian acquisitions. One of the latest has been Nurses on NBC.

It’s taken over our Monday nights, offering us a different look at hospitals. We usually see the doctors at work, but now we’re seeing their colleagues—the ones that do the majority of the work we see doctors doing in these TV crime dramas.

The series has certainly given us a lot to think about. We’ve got to know the characters relatively well, seeing their secrets unfold in just the second episode. Will we get to see more from them tonight, Monday, Dec. 21?

Sadly, no. Nurses isn’t on NBC tonight. The network is opting for a rerun of Weakest Link instead as it gets into its holiday programming.

The two Monday episodes were just a preview of the series. It’s switching nights when it returns in 2021.

What to expect on Nurses Season 1, Episode 3

The series will return on Tuesday, Jan. 5 at 10/9c. For those keeping track, yes, that is the timeslot Transplant held during the fall. It’s also the usual timeslot for New Amsterdam. The U.S. drama isn’t returning just yet due to filming complications thanks to the coronavirus pandemic. It makes sense to keep the timeslot about medical dramas.

During Nurses Season 1, Episode 3, Grace will be forced to confront the trauma from the past. She has a patient who has an illness she can’t quite diagnose. Expect an episode that’s focused on her trying to figure this out as she proves she’s great at her job.

The great news is the series has already been renewed in Canada. You can enjoy it now on NBC, because there are already some good chances that the second season will be picked up. It makes sense to keep running these Canadian acquisitions, especially during the off-season.

Next. 13 Grey's Anatomy characters we definitely don't miss. dark

Nurses Season 1, Episode 3 will air on Jan. 5 at 10/9c on NBC. You can watch the first two episodes on Hulu and Peacock.
