Here are questions we have for Cobra Kai Season 4

On Jan. 1, 2021, Netflix released the third season of Cobra Kai. The season picks up two weeks after the school fight between the students of Cobra Kai and Miyagi-Do.

In the aftermath, the San Fernando Valley gets shaken, and Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence, whose feud has sparked a new generation of rivalry, are left to deal with the consequences. Meanwhile, Johnny’s old sensei John Kreese has taken over control of Cobra Kai.

With things set to get much worse before they get better, both generations of Cobra Kai and Miyagi-Do students must decide just how bad things will get before they’re ready to bury the hatchet. After binging the season this New Year’s weekend, here are questions we have for Season 4.

How long will Daniel and Johnny’s partnership last?

At the end of the season premiere, Daniel showed up at Johnny’s door asking for his help after discovering Robby, who’d run away after the fight, had stolen a car from the dealership. Although Johnny agreed to assist him, the two would again butt heads and go their separate ways.

The two would not interact again in any meaningful way until the season finale. At a Christmas party at the Encino Oaks Country Club, which Johnny attended with his (and Daniel’s) ex-girlfriend Ali Mills, Ali got the men to consider that maybe they’d both been lead to believe a version of the truth about their ongoing rivalry.

Following a Cobra Kai-led attack on the students of Miyagi-Do and the newly-formed Eagle Fang Karate, Johnny went to the Cobra Kai dojo.

After finding Robby there, Johnny and Kreese engaged in a bloody battle. Although Johnny looked to be at the losing end of that fight, Daniel would arrive in the nick of time to finish what Johnny started. However, before he could finish the job, Sam and Miguel would arrive and plead with Daniel to spare him.

He would but would tell Kreese to stay away from their students. Although Kreese refused, he would suggest that they settle their feud the old-fashioned way, at the All-Valley Tournament. With both men realizing that two dojos are better than one, Daniel and Johnny would ultimately merge their two dojos as one.

While it was great to see the men and their students finally come together, I worry how long it will take before Daniel and Johnny butt heads. If they do, will it interrupt their mission? Will the kids have to step in and finally say enough is enough?
