The most shocking moments from Chicago Fire Season 9, Episode 3

After a two-month break and a false start, Chicago Fire Season 9, Episode 3 finally aired. It was just as shocking as we were promised, especially when it came to the ladder incident.

This was certainly an episode worth waiting for. Let’s get straight into the episode, which had some big moments. Here are the five biggest that made us go “WTF!”

A guy willing to die for his car

While responding to a fire, Severide gets in to find a guy near a car. Severide manages to get him out with just a burn to his hand, only to find out the guy had stuck around for his car. Yes, he was willing to die for his car.

It turned out the car was his dad’s, and something that he wanted to finish rebuilding because his dad didn’t get the chance to before dying. Severide could understand that.

As shocking as the moment is, all the guy wants is to get back to his car. Severide takes over the investigation into the fire to help clear it.
