Money Heist Season 5 hasn’t even premiered yet, and you want to know about the future of the show. That’s understandable when it comes to great shows.

However, we have some bad news. Money Heist Season 5 is set to be the end. It wasn’t canceled by Netflix, but a group decision was made to bring an end to the show. After all, you want to end a series on a high, right?

Assuming that Money Heist Season 5 wraps up everything, it’s hard to say where a storyline could go. One option would be a sort of spin-off series, following some of the surviving characters that may decide they want to try again.

Another option would be to turn this into a sort of anthology series. A sixth season could reboot everything with a new set of core characters.

Would it work, though? Once Upon a Time tried this. Suits tried something like this. So did The Vampire Diaries. In the end, all shows ended shortly after the attempts. Viewers want the original characters.
