Watch the 9-1-1: Lone Star Season 2 premiere live online
There’s a new paramedic captain on the 9-1-1: Lone Star Season 2 premiere
New paramedics, ex-wives, and more turn up on the 9-1-1: Lone Star Season 2 premiere. Here’s how to watch the episode live online.
The new paramedic is Tommy Vega, played by Gina Torres. Soon after 9-1-1: Lone Star Season 2 started filming, we learned Liv Tyler wouldn’t return as Michelle. Due to living in the UK and the pandemic, she couldn’t make the filming schedule work. While it is disappointing, at least Michelle’s storyline was wrapped up fairly well and there’s no reason (right now) that Michelle can’t return when the pandemic is over.
I am excited to see Torres join the cast, though. Who doesn’t love Gina Torres? There’s everything to adore, and it’s clear she’s coming in with a fiery attitude and knows her stuff.
Owen learns more about his cancer on the 9-1-1: Lone Star Season 2 premiere
During the first season, Owen learned he had cancer. We can thank 9/11 for that.
He went through treatment for the cancer throughout the first season. Now he learns if it’s progressed or if he’s gone into remission—or if it’s just not changed and he will need to continue chemo treatments.
There’s more to his story, too. His ex-wife (and TK’s mother) turns up in Texas. From the first-look video below, it appears that Owen and his ex are on extremely good terms during the pandemic. What could possibly go wrong?
Of course, there are also plenty of harrowing saves and intense calls. Live active volcanoes and tanks rolling up in the streets are two of the storylines to expect.
Check out the first-look and the synopsis for the 9-1-1: Lone Star Season 2 premiere below:
"The 126 crew responds to a military tank on the loose in downtown Austin and a human pile-up at the roller derby. Meanwhile, new paramedic captain, Tommy Vega, joins the team and Owen is reunited with his ex-wife and T.K.’s mother, Gwyneth (guest star Lisa Edelstein), and receives an update on his cancer."
