To All the Boys: Always and Forever doesn’t just have a release date set. There’s also a trailer known and much more. Let’s dive into it all, including a little tease of what the third book is about.

To All the Boys 3 release date

The third (and likely final) movie in the franchise will air on Friday, Feb. 12, 2021. It’s just in time for Valentine’s Day, which suits the timing of previous movies. In fact, it matches the date of the second movie exactly.

To All the Boys 3 cast

Who is returning for the movie? We get a glimpse of that in the trailer. We can also use the book to know who is likely to come back but wasn’t in the trailer.

Lana Condor and Noah Centineo will return as Lara-Jean and Peter. After all, it is their story—well, LJ’s story about her love for Peter. Momona Tamada will also return as the younger LJ.

Janel Parrish, Anna Cathcart, Madeleine Arthur, Sarayu Blue, Ross Butler, and John Corbett are also expected to return based on the promo and the book storylines.

Jordan Fisher is not set to return as John Ambrose. He’s not in the third book, so there’s no need to bring him back into the third movie.

The official synopsis for the movie reads:

"As Lara Jean Covey prepares for the end of high school and the start of adulthood, a pair of life-changing trips leads her to reimagine what life with her family, friends, and Peter will look like after graduation."

The book the movie is based on, Always and Forever, Lara Jean, looks at whether long-distance relationships can work. In fact, it’s more about the opinions of others getting into LJ’s head, which could put her relationship with Peter in jeopardy.

LJ also needs to figure out what she wants to do with her life that doesn’t just involve a boy. What are her dreams, because they are important?
