Katie Price is opening up on a particularly tough time she had with her son Harvey.

While speaking to The Sun, according to Daily Star, Katie spoke about the trailer for her upcoming BBC special titled Katie Price: Harvey and Me. Per People, the documentary will show her dealing with her 18-year-old son as he enters adulthood. As we previously reported, Katie recently announced that she made the decision to put Harvey into residential care for college.

In the trailer, there’s a scene in which Harvey can be seen kicking a door, to which Katie Price weighed in while chatting to The Sun with:

"He can get a lot worse. I remember we were coming back from Turkey and he wanted another pizza on the plane. I said, ‘No we’re home now’, but he wanted to stay on holiday and stay on the plane. So he started kicking off and everyone had to get off the plane at the back end, while I got him off the other end."

Soon enough, as Katie explained, armed police had to come to solve the situation.

Katie has certainly been criticized for her parenting skills, relationship troubles, and much more in the past, but many people have commended her on her decision to transition Harvey into residential care. In 2020 especially, she’s been very open about the struggles she’s faced with her eldest son, and fans know he’s not her only child. The TV personality is the mother to five children: Harvey Price, Princess Tiaamii Crystal Esther Andre, Junior Savva Andreas Andre, Jett Riviera Hayler, and Bunny Hayler.

And on top of that, Katie revealed this year that she would like to have another child, this time with her boyfriend Carl Woods. She posted on social media that she was taking pregnancy supplements and admitted that she’s “desperate” for a baby.

When explaining her decision to send Harvey away earlier this month, Katie said:

"It’s so upsetting to think I won’t see him every day but this is the best thing for Harvey and we have to think positively because I don’t want him to think I’m just getting rid of him. This is his chance to live an independent life, learn skills and socialise with people other than me. I’m trying to get him used to me not being there all the time. But he’ll call on his iPad and say, ‘Mum, I need you’, and I run to him."

The documentary airs tonight, January 25, on BBC One.
