It’s hard to keep track of events on the series right now. After just two episodes, Chicago Fire went on a long break, and then it returned for one episode before taking another break. Hopefully at this point, NBC’s schedule will remain a little more consistent from this point.
Chicago Fire Season 9, Episode 4 will see Gallo need to save one of the firehouse’s own. We see in the promo what’s happening here. Firehouse 51 responds to an explosion, and there’s another one while they’re there. We see Mackey in the vicinity of the explosion.
This could be the catalyst for Gallo and Mackey to get together. There have been some hints along the way, but Cruz has made it clear that he will protect Mackey. Will he lighten up when he sees that Gallo is willing to risk his life for her?
What else to expect on Chicago Fire Season 9, Episode 4
Elsewhere, Boden is going to do a task that headquarters has given him. This is going to lead to some sort of unforeseen connection. What will that unforeseen connection be? Just what is the task related to in the first place?
We’ll have to wait and see until the episode airs.
Boden isn’t the only one with a storyline. Mouch reignites an old feud. Who will this be with? There have been a few feuds in the past, so which one is coming up?
We know it won’t be Gorsch. He was mentioned recently after the incident with the ladder thanks to Gorsch not getting the trucks back in when the recall was sent out.
