Watch Walker Season 1, Episode 2 live online tonight

Last week we officially got to see Jared Padalecki in his brand new role as Cordell Walker in The CW premiere of Walker, a reimagining of the original Chuck Norris series. Tonight the journey continues with Walker Episode 2, and you won’t want to miss out on the next part of the Walker family’s journey.
In the premiere episode, Walker returned to town 11 months after his wife Emily’s death after completing an undercover assignment. Upon returning to his hometown, he found that his kids, Stella and August, were struggling in his absence. Stella has been acting out, and August has twisted himself up trying to pick up the slack without his father around.
It’ll take time and compassion for Walker to get back on the same page as his two children, especially in the wake of their mother’s death. They’ll have to work together to find their new normal.
In tonight’s installment, Walker Episode 2—aptly titled “Back in the Saddle,” Walker will continue to try and reconnect with his family. But Stella and August have formed new habits and patterns with his brother, Liam, that Walker will have to accept. At work, Walker’s captain tells him he’ll need to get recertified to become a ranger once more.

Will memories of Emily hold Cordell back in Walker Episode 2?
We know that progress forward is going to be challenging for Walker and his entire family. Not only has Emily died, but the first episode presented the possibility that there was more to Emily’s death than they might have initially thought. Walker continues to carry around a poker chip found on her body like a token of his grief.
In Episode 1, he expressed his frustration to Liam about the chip’s meaning. If Emily was just on a supply run, why did she have the chip on her? Did someone else put it there? Was she trying to leave him a hint?
Based on the synopsis for Walker Episode 2, Walker will struggle to get back on his feet at work due to the memories of Emily’s death. If he doesn’t find a way to deal with his grief, it might restrict his progress.
