General Hospital February preview: A bombshell is dropped at double wedding
February sweeps are coming up on General Hospital and that means lots of drama is on the horizon. There is also a wedding ahead. Actually, make that a double wedding!
Anna Devane and Hamilton Finn are set to tie the knot next month. Unfortunately for them, Maxie has wiggled her way into their wedding planning by suggesting that she and Peter August share the main stage with them. Now the double nuptials is about to take place.
Head writer Dan O’Connor gave fans a little bit of a preview via TV Insider on Thursday and it sounds like there will be plenty of fireworks thrown their way instead of the traditional rice. It sure doesn’t sound like it’s going to be pretty either.
What does this double wedding have in store?
General Hospital February preview: A wedding crasher tells all
Many soap weddings end up having that notorious wedding crasher who disrupts the nuptials and that’s exactly what will happen this time on General Hospital. Secrets and lies are never kept quiet for very long and Peter’s transgressions are about to be spilled.
Who is it that will barge in to interrupt the ceremony? The most likely candidate is Liesl Obrecht. Although O’Connor didn’t reveal any names, he did say that they will “drop a bombshell.”
That stands to reason that whoever it is has all the information they need to finally nab Faison’s son. Peter has spent months scrambling to keep his past a secret from Maxie, but it looks like the life that he has built with Maxie and their unborn child will come crashing down soon.
Anna is in need of some marital advice, West Coast. Little did she know that Jordan may need it more than she does.

General Hospital February preview: A ruined wedding day
Maxie will surely have her heartbroken when she discovers what her fiancé has done. In addition, Peter will find out that the woman who he thought was his mother is actually his aunt. Anna has kept that info to herself.
If Peter loses Maxie, this will likely send him into a downward spiral. With Alex and Faison as his true evil parents, that would likely turn him into a worse villain than he already is.
