Do something different this Valentine’s Day with some Valentine’s horror movies.

Valentine’s day is right around the corner. It’s time to pull out the chocolate candies, balloons, and oversized teddy bears, to show your significant other just how much you love them. Don’t forget the bouquet of roses! While those things are great to look forward to on this lover’s holiday it’s 2021.

Why not do something different like cuddle up on a couch and watch Valentine’s horror movies. Sound’s fun right? Popcorn, drinks plus blood and gore is the perfect way to celebrate.

While there are many to choose from these five Valentine’s horror movies are a must-watch.

My Bloody Valentine 3D

There’s a new cupid in town dressed as an ax-throwing miner here to terrorize everyone on a day that should be filled with love. A remake of 1981 original, it stars chiseled hotties Jensen Ackles (Supernatural) and Kerr Smith (Dawson’s Creek) along with Jaime King (Hart of Dixie).

A small town is rocked and confused by a killer with one thing on his mind…revenge.  My Bloody Valentine 3D can be streamed on Amazon Prime.

Valentine is one of the perfect Valentine’s horror movies

Love is not in the air for this group of young friends. After remembering how horrible they were to the nerdy kid Jeremy Melton in sixth grade, things get weird for the now 20-somethings.

Shelley (Katherine Heigl) receives Valentine’s day card signed JM. A sweet gesture until she’s murdered right after. The remaining friends’ Kate (Marley Shelton), Lily (Jessica Cauffiel), Paige (Denise Richards), and Dorothy (Jessica Capshaw) also receive threatening cards and must solve who’s the killer behind the cupid mask.

Is Jeremy Melton back to seek revenge on those who belittled him, or is it someone pretending to be him?  Valentine can be streamed on Amazon Prime and rented on Google Play and YouTube.

Warm Bodies

After a zombie apocalypse, this undead creature feels alive for the first time in years. R (Nicholas Hoult) and the rest of the zombies camp out in the airport where their day-to-day activities include eating human brains. After eight years of not having a heartbeat, it all changes when he encounters Julia (Teresa Palmer).

Talk about love at first sight. R saves Julia from the rest of the brain-eating zombies, but are his intentions good, or is he just buttering her up before eating her brains.

If you’re an Amazon Prime subscriber, you’re in luck because Warm Bodies is available to watch on Amazon Video.

Into the Dark: My Valentine

Pop singer Valentine (Britt Baron) is living her best life. She’s finally worked up the courage to perform on stage again and nothing can stop her. That is until her former manager and ex-boyfriend Royal (Benedict Samuel) shows up. Saying he’s obsessed with Valentine is an understatement.

Toxic Masculinity flows through Royal as his new girlfriend Trezzure (Anna Lore) is an exact clone of Valentine from her blue hair to the music she performs which was stolen from Valentine. If you’re familiar with the Into the Dark series you know things turn very dark very fast.

To see what happens next stream Into the Dark: My Valentine on Hulu.

My Bloody Valentine

A cult classic and one of the original Valentine’s horror movies. There are many ways to die this Valentine’s Day thanks to a vengeful miner with an ax.

My Bloody Valentine follows Henry Warden (Peter Cowper) as he seeks revenge on those who left him for dead after an explosion inside a mine shaft. The following year he does just that by killing the supervisors who left him there. He threatened more attacks would occur if the Valentine’s Day dance occurred again

After Warden was sent to an asylum, the annual dance resumed. When the Valentine’s Day dance returns so do the murders with a fresh batch of teens to torture. My Bloody Valentine can be streamed on Amazon or Starz and rented on YouTube.
