All American Season 3, Episode 5 spoilers: Is Spencer off the team?

Since the start of the season, Spencer has struggled with his arm. Will he be benched during All American Season 3, Episode 5?

During Episode 4, Spencer came to realize why his arm is still messed up. It’s nothing physical, but mental, and it all comes back to that shooting. You see, he took the bullet for a girl, but not the girl anyone initially thought.

Spencer realized that he took the bullet for his best friend, Coop. And he’s going to have to have an honest conversation with her during All American Season 3, Episode 5.

At the same time, he’ll need to have an honest conversation about his arm. Just because he’s got to the bottom of things doesn’t mean his arm is back to full working order. The promo for the new episode leaves us concerned about his future on the Crenshaw football team.

Is Spencer off the team on All American?

Spencer is still going to have problems while playing football. During the promo, we see him laying on the ground, unable to move his arm. It’s reminiscent of when he was shot during the second season and could bring a few flashbacks.

Billy wants to have Spencer on the team, but he also needs a good team to play. There are more people than Spencer with their hopes on the current season, and Billy needs to make the best decision for everyone involved. That could certainly mean benching Spencer for the time being.

Maybe it will help Spencer clear his head a little more. This could be where the conversation with Coop comes in. Just how is she going to handle being told she’s the reason he got shot?
