It’s Thursday, and you know what that means! There should be a brand new episode of Walker Season 1 airing on The CW tonight. Well, unfortunately for fans, Walker is taking a mini-hiatus for the next couple of weeks.
The hiatus comes just as Liam and Captain James are starting to reconsider Emily’s murder case. It might not be as closed as we, and Walker, were initially led to believe! In the promo for Walker Season 1, Episode 6, Hoyt Rawlins returns, this time from a prison cell. It looks like Hoyt is going to be spending some time with Emily’s murderer.
Not only that, but in the sixth episode, titled “Bar None,” the anniversary of Emily’s death has encroached, and Walker is in denial, so says Geri, anyway. It seems like Walker doesn’t want to deal with the emotions that come with facing the one-year mark of his wife’s murder, and I can’t say I blame him, although it might be the healthiest way of dealing with his feelings.
Since there isn’t a new episode of Walker tonight, you might be wondering what The CW is airing in its place. The network will be showing an encore presentation of the pilot episode.
If you’d like to go back to the beginning, tune in to The CW tonight at 8 p.m. ET to rewatch the first hour, or maybe you can use this as an opportunity to convince your friend or family member to start the show and join the #WalkerFamily on social media!
When does Walker Season 1 return with new episodes?
The sixth installment of Walker Season 1 will premiere on Thursday, March 11. Interestingly, The CW released their upcoming spring schedule, and Walker isn’t on it. But the schedule didn’t mention any of the Tuesday or Thursday night lineups, so most likely, they will remain untouched. I imagine a couple of short hiatuses might break up the season, but it doesn’t look like the network has any extensive hiatuses planned.
Walker will return with new episodes on March 11 at its usual timeslot of 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
