The Resident spoilers: Is Mina about to be deported?

The Resident Season 4, Episode 8 sees Nic back at work, but it’s not all good news. It looks like Mina might be deported after all.

We get to cheer that Nic is back at work, but she will have to face her attacker. If anyone can get through this, it’s Nic. It’s going to be hard, but she’s got so much support around her that she’s got this.

The person I’m most concerned about right now is Mina. She was already struggling with immigration and now she’s under investigation. It’s all thanks to Cain, who just can’t accept that what he was doing was wrong in the first place. It was because of him that his patient ended up contracting COVID-19 in the first place, and he needs to accept that responsibility.

But this is a guy who has never accepted responsibility for his actions. It’s a common problem in the world in big and small instances. Personal accountability is important.

Instead, he’s shifting the focus on Mina. She’s the one who reported him, and now he’s going to get his revenge. It doesn’t matter to him that it means she could be deported. That’s a bonus for him.

Will we lose Mina? We better not! She’s one of the best things about The Resident!

The Resident spoilers: Will Cain operate again?

While all that happens, there is going to be more focus on Cain. He’s going to go through PT to be able to operate again, but it doesn’t look like that’s going to be possible.

Considering the damage he’s caused in the past, part of me hopes that he doesn’t get to operate again. I don’t want to see him lie to get a patient into an operating room for the sake of money again.

Even if he does operate again, will he get to stay at Chastain? After everything he’s done, probably not. With Kit now as CEO, she gets a chance to get rid of the bad doctors even if they do bring in money.
