Stream Promising Young Woman: Where can you watch the Academy Award nominated movie?

If you stayed tuned to watch the nomination announcements for the 93rd Academy Awards, you know A Promising Young Woman is nominated for several awards, including Best Picture. Here’s where you can watch (or rewatch) the movie if you haven’t already.
The year 2020 was an odd and rough one for movies (and pretty much everything else), that’s for sure. But there were still several pieces of cinematic work that need to be recognized. One of them is Promising Young Woman.
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas announced the nominees on the morning of Monday, March 15, 2021, and we cheered strongly for Promising Young Woman. The film was nominated for Best Picture, Best Director (Emerald Fennel), Best Actress (Carey Mulligan), Best Original Screenplay (Emerald Fennel), and Best Film Editing.
The story follows Mulligan’s character, Cassie, who wants to avenge her best friend, a victim of rape. The synopsis shared by Rotten Tomatoes, where it has a Fresh Score of 90%, also shares that “an unexpected encounter is about to give Cassie a chance to right the wrongs from the past.”
The movie stars Carey Mulligan, Emerald Fennel, Bo Burnham, Alison Brie, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, and others.
Where can you watch Promising Young Woman online?
If you missed the movie when it premiered on Dec. 25, 2020, we can’t really blame you. But now that the movie is up for an Academy Award, it needs to be watched by a larger audience!
So where can you stream this movie online? Are any theaters playing it after its nomination? Will watching be free? Here’s what we know!
You can watch Promising Young Woman where you regularly purchase or rent movies online, such as Vudu, Fandango Now, Prime Video, and Apple TV. But, no, it won’t be free. In fact, it’s not even available as a rental. To watch it, you’ll have to purchase the movie, I saw two prices $17 and $20, depends on where you look.
