Ryan Reynolds recently entertained us all with reaction tweets of his first time watching the 2011 movie Green Lantern. He mentioned we couldn’t follow along because the movie is not streaming anywhere. Is this true?

Leave it to actor Ryan Reynolds to randomly entertain us! Whenever he jumps on Twitter, you know it’s going to be good (and more than likely hilarious).

For St. Patrick’s Day 2021, Reynolds shared that he would be watching Green Lantern for the first time ever. That’s right, who would have thought the star of the movie himself had never seen his own movie. Let alone one that made so many headlines (perhaps not for good reasons, but headlines still).

Not to mention, Reynolds met his wife, Blake Lively, while filming the movie, so you’d think Green Lantern would be somewhat important to him. In his tweets, he jokes about how Lively is also in the movie.

Reynolds tells his fans that he only read his parts of the script and nothing else, so he was “genuinely excited” about it.

Where to stream Green Lantern

So is it true no streaming service has the movie available? After a quick research, it may be true as we were not able to find the movie anywhere.

Green Lantern is not streaming on Netflix, Hulu, or even HBO Max.

To watch the movie, you either have to own a physical copy (Blu-ray/DVD) or pay to watch it where movies are sold/rented online, such as Vudu, Apple TV, iTunes, and more. I found it’s available to rent starting at $3.99.

Ryan Reynolds concludes his watch by sharing that, while the movie has flaws and is not perfect, it’s not terrible either. I have to agree. This movie is not my favorite, but I never thought it deserved the hate it got when it premiered.

Next. Will Zack Snyder’s Justice League become available on Blu-ray/DVD?. dark

What did you think about the movie when it first premiered? Do you feel differently about it the second time around?
