It’s been a while since Rick and Morty season 4 ended, and now, fans are hoping to see Ricky and Morty season 5 soon on Adult Swim.

The fourth season of the animated series premiered in November 2019 and ended in May 2020.

The good news is that Rick and Morty season 5 is happening. Cartoon Network ordered 70 episodes of the series after season 3, and so we knew season 5 had been ordered prior to the release of season 4.

Rick and Morty season 5 release date

Adult Swim announced the Rick and Morty season 5 release date! The season 5 premiere is slated for Sunday, June 20, 2021. 

That’s right, we’re only a few months away from the premiere date on Adult Swim.

When is Rick and Morty season 5 coming to Hulu?

Rick and Morty streams on Hulu. The first four seasons of the series are available to stream on Hulu right now. The most recent season was added to Hulu on Nov. 1, 2020.

While we don’t know exactly when Rick and Morty season 5 is coming to Hulu, we have a pretty good idea when to expect the season.

New seasons of Rick and Morty are added to Hulu about five months after the season finale airs on Adult Swim. That’s what happened with the fourth season.

So, we know that when season 5 finishes, we’ll see the full season on Hulu about five months later. We don’t know when that will be, but it’s unlikely that season 5 will be on Hulu in 2021.

When is Rick and Morty season 5 coming to HBO Max?

Since HBO Max launched in the spring of 2020, Rick and Morty has also been streaming on WarnerMedia’s streaming service.

Like Hulu, HBO Max also adds new seasons of Rick and Morty on the same day as Hulu. So, we’ll see the season on HBO Max about five months after the season finale airs.

Most likely, that’ll be sometime in 2022. Hopefully, early 2022!

Rick and Morty season 5 cast

The official cast for season 5 has not been announced yet. Some cast members, including Justin Roiland, who voices Rick and Morty are back for season 5. Spencer Grammer, Chris Parnell, and Sarah Chalke will certainly be back, according to Tech Radar.

I’m sure we’ll get to hear some familiar voices for new characters in season 5, as well.
