If you’re in tune with the anime world, you probably know that there are millions of fangirls in love with Jujutsu Kaisen‘s Gojo Satoru. If you’re not very familiar with the anime world, you might want to start watching, so you too can fall in love with Gojo Satoru.

The anime took the world by storm when it was released earlier this year and no matter where you go, Jujutsu Kaisen is amongst the top trending anime of the year. From the meme-worthy sayings to Itadori Yuuji’s obsession with Jennifer Lawrence, this anime is certainly one to watch.

Where to watch Jujutsu Kaisen

At this time, the first 16 episodes of the shounen anime are currently available to stream on HBO Max, however, with the show’s immense popularity, it may make its way to the other streaming giants relatively soon. And if you’re a user of Crunchy Roll, you can find all released episodes of Jujutsu Kaisen here. Episode 24 is set to be released on March 26, 2021.

What is Jujutsu Kaisen about?

The easier question to answer would definitely be, what isn’t Jujutsu Kaisen about?

To briefly summarize, Jujutsu Kaisen is about a high schooler named Itadori Yuuji and his journey to discovering what it means to have loved ones surround you on your death bed, and how to achieve such a thing. I promise it isn’t as sad as it sounds.

Upon trying to find meaning in death and life, Itadori finds himself cursed after eating a demon named Sukuna’s finger, which led to him having the demon reside in his body.

With Sukuna being as powerful as he is and his hunger for destruction being catastrophic, Itadori is sentenced to be executed, that is until jujutsu sorcerer Gojo Satoru opts to teach Itadori how to become a cursed-user, a profession that deals with exorcising curses.

Now that his inevitable execution has been postponed and he’s come close to death, the cursed-teen learns how to get stronger in order to protect those he loves and fight for a life worth dying for.

In the midst of all the soul-searching are ridiculously good looking characters, a 28-year-old teacher who doesn’t take anything seriously, a baseball game, and a boy who can only say “tuna” or “salmon” because if he speaks other words he could potentially kill everyone and destroy the world. Fun, right?!

This anime is definitely one to watch and has even won a couple of awards, including Anime of the Year at Crunchyroll’s 2021 Anime Awards.
