How to watch People Presents: Harry & Meghan’s American Dream
By Sabrina Reed
We’re not sure how much of People Presents: Harry & Meghan’s American Dream will hold up in the aftermath of the Oprah interview that took over social media and media talking points, but if you’re interested in learning even more about the couple, the one-hour special is airing tonight at 8 pm ET on The CW.
This is a change from its previously scheduled premiere of Tuesday, March 30. We’re not sure why the special was bumped up.
In light of this change, viewers interested in People Presents: William & Kate’s Royal Anniversary–set to premiere Thursday, April 29–may want to keep an eye on a schedule bump for this special as well.
No worries if you miss the special tonight. Harry & Meghan’s American Dream can be streamed on The CW app for free starting Friday, March 26.
What Harry & Meghan’s American Dream about?
The one-hour special will focus on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s exit from royal life, a move that shocked the globe. Picking up a year after their decision, Harry & Meghan’s American Dream examines the couple’s life in America. This will include everything from their multi-million-dollar streaming deals to the life they’re building with their son, Archie, in California.
But the special isn’t only about the positivity Harry and Meghan have been striving to cultivate for themselves and their family. It will also go into the personal tragedy they suffered as well as the tension between them and the royal family, especially the continued strain in their relationship with Prince William and Kate Middleton.
According to the official synopsis, the special “will trace Harry and Meghan’s journey from royalty to celebrity,” which sounds like it will focus on the glamorous and not so glamorous reality of being a household name and a heavily discussed public figure.
