Big Brother Canada 9 Episode 11: Who got evicted?
By Noah Mussay
Who got evicted in the latest episode of Big Brother? Please note, spoilers are ahead for Episode 11 of Big Brother Canada 9.
The power shifted once again in Week 4 of Big Brother Canada 9. After the Grim Kiefer won HOH in Episode 9, he decided it was high time to start going after the pairs. While he initially nominated Rohan and Kyle, Rohan won this week’s POV Competition in Episode 10, forcing Kiefer to name a replacement nominee.
Although Kyle and Rohan tried to convince Kiefer to backdoor Victoria, after some prodding from Tychon, Kiefer put Austin on the block, going against the deal they made at the HOH Competition.
So who ended up getting evicted? Let’s talk about what happened in Episode 11 of Big Brother Canada 9.
Big Brother Canada 9: Tempers flare-up
While Austin was upset that Kiefer put her on the block, it was Kyle that called out the hypocrisy.
However, Victoria quickly put Kyle in his place, calling him out for throwing her name under the bus, prompting Kyle to walk away. Kiefer, having dodged a bullet, spoke with Tina and Tera, two older players that he explained in the Diary Room he feels comfortable working with, and told the two women that the week couldn’t have gone any better.
In the Kitchen, Victoria assured Austin she was safe, despite the fact, she knew Kyle and Rohan were going to attempt to convince her to keep Kyle.
Following this conversation, Victoria headed into the Have-Not Room, where Kyle and Rohan attempted to convince Victoria they had good reason to throw her name under the bus. While Victoria understood, in the DR, she would say she doesn’t trust either of the boys.
Love is blind
In the HOH Room, Beth and Tychon discussed Austin and Kyle’s budding romance and agreed Kyle was laying down and dying for Austin. The pair also agreed Austin is the more dangerous player, and she would likely target them or Jedson in the coming weeks. However, with Kiefer as HOH, they felt there wasn’t much they could do.
Let’s play Big Brother
However, Tera was becoming frustrated at Austin and Kyle’s lack of campaigning due to Kyle’s resignation and Austin’s confidence that she was safe. As a result, Tera decided it was time to shake things up, and she and Tina headed up to the HOH Room where Tera made her own pitch to Kiefer, telling him that she believed it was a better decision to keep Kyle in the game.
Not knowing that Kiefer and Tina are aligned with Jedson and Tychon, she suggested keeping Kyle in the game allowed someone else to take a shot at them. While Kiefer expressed that he had more trust in Jedson and Tychon than Kyle and Rohan, he told her that the vote was in their hands, and that was all the motivation Tera needed to put the flip in motion.
Meanwhile, Austin and Breydon talked outside the HOH Room about the vote, and Austin told Breydon that she didn’t foresee a vote flip occurring, believing Beth, Victoria, Tina, and Tera to be loyal to her. Although he also thought Austin was safe, Kyle finally decided to make a plea for his Big Brother life and headed up to the HOH Room to talk to Jedson and Tychon.
He explained that, with him and Rohan left in the game, there would be someone to take a shot at Kiefer, keeping Jedson and Tychon from having to betray him.
He also made it a point to say he felt his reputation as a physical threat was unwarranted when Austin has performed better in the competitions. In the DR, Tychon seemed receptive to Kyle’s pitch. However, when it came time for the Eviction Vote, Kyle found himself heading out the door by a vote of 7-1.
In his Exit Interview, Kyle told Arisa that while it was difficult at first campaigning against Austin, but that when he learned there might be hope, he tried to fight.
He said he had faith in Rohan’s chances, and The Oddballs just had to pull out a win this week for it to be smooth sailing from here on out. As for his relationship with Austin, he assured Arisa they’d talk again and see what the future had in store.
Invisible HOH? Didn’t see that one coming
After returning from the break, Arisa explained to the HouseGuests, who were standing in booths, unable to see one another, that this week’s HOH Competition has a twist.
The winner of this week’s HOH Competition will remain anonymous to the HouseGuests. This means that the HOH will make nominations and compete in the Veto Competition on the down-low, with the only drawback being they will not have access to the HOH Suite.
For this week’s competition, the HouseGuests had to count the number of rocks getting dropped by a conveyor belt into the Backyard. To keep track, the HouseGuests would have to press a button every time a rock dropped fell. At the end of the competition, the player with the closest estimate would become the first-ever Invisible HOH.
Who will win the Invisible HOH, and who will they nominate? More importantly, will they be able to keep their powers a secret?
