What did Maddie and Chimney call their baby on 9-1-1?

Maddie gave birth to her and Chimney’s baby on 9-1-1 Season 4, Episode 9. They spent the episode picking a name, but what was the choice in the end?

The two spent most of the episode discussing baby names. They’d been through all of the top suggestions by the alphabet, but couldn’t find something they could agree on. All Maddie knew was that they would need to figure it out if they weren’t going to end up with a name like Norman Bates.

Would they end up with a name they’d come to regret? It wasn’t going to be easy, especially with Albert involved in the car crash on the freeway. Chimney joked about the names Alberta or Albertina. Don’t tell me you didn’t think of either of those names for a while if Albert didn’t make it out alive.

In the end, Maddie chose the name herself. Would Chimney be mad on 9-1-1?

Maddie chose a special name on 9-1-1

While Chimney was seeing his brother, Maddie phoned Chimney’s parents to pass the message on. That’s when she finally figured out the name.

Maddie kept hearing from Chimney’s stepmom that she wished Chimney’s mom could be there to see their child. That’s when she figured ou the perfect name.

It turned out the two had focused so much on the Western names that they hadn’t seemed to consider Chimney’s heritage. He was shocked to hear that Maddie chose the name Jee-Yun, Chimney’s mother’s name.

Yes, Chimney was happy to hear the name. In fact, he was moved and grateful. This is what love is.

And so we have baby Jee-Yun Han.
