For the last few episodes, Chicago Fire has focused heavily on Casey, leaving many fans to worry that Jesse Spencer is coming out of the series. Casey suffered a head injury during a call a few episodes ago, which may have led to more serious damage after the head injury he suffered a few seasons earlier.
It’s been on his mind, and he wasn’t ready to face the possibility of his career ending until recently. Now he has Brett by his side to find out whether there is a serious problem or not.
Naturally, he’s scared. If there is a serious problem, it means he has to quit the CFD. Yes, he has construction to fall back on, but he loves his job as a firefighter and he doesn’t want to give that up. It’s a fear we’ve seen many of them have over the years, including Severide and Capp.
