After 10 seasons, AMC’s The Walking Dead is set to wrap things up with season 11. When will the final zombie kills premiere? Here’s everything we know about The Walking Dead season 11 (so far).

Have you been keeping track of Daryl Dixon’s tears and kills? You have just one more season to go! With season 11 being the final installment in the zombie drama, there are a lot of expectations ahead.

Not only did The Walking Dead season 10 end with many questions and mysteries, but after season 11 there’s no more! It all needs to come to a proper conclusion, fans deserve that much.

Out of all the things and events fans are hoping for in The Walking Dead season 11, the return of Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) is at the top of the list! We all know Rick is not dead, but will he return. I truly don’t see them missing out on this opportunity to bring Rick back.

The Walking Dead season 11 premiere date

Just as most previous seasons of the series, The Walking Dead season 11 will be divided into parts. The first set of episodes premiere this summer on Aug. 22. We can expect the second batch in early 2022, and the final episodes in mid-2022. Each batch will consist of eight episodes.

Expected to return are the normal crew: Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride, Christian Serratos,  Lauren  Cohan, Josh McDermitt, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan, as well as other veteran cast members.

As we stated earlier, even Andrew Lincoln is rumored to be returning as Rick. We’ll keep you posted on this as soon as we learn more!

The Walking Dead season 11 synopsis

Season 11 is not going to be wasting any time. A confrontation between Maggie and Negan will kick things off. That’s going to take a few episodes as we’re not sure what will happen to either Maggie or Negan.

Is Negan a new person or will he go after Maggie? Is Maggie set on revenge?
