The Nevers is a huge hit on HBO Max and one of the most popular shows on right now. With the season winding down, fans are starting to wonder when The Nevers season 2 will be released.

HBO Max has not renewed The Nevers for season 2 yet. We’re expecting that will happen, but that has not been confirmed by the network yet.

Even though the season hasn’t been renewed for season 2 yet, that doesn’t mean there aren’t more new episodes of The Nevers on the way.

When does The Nevers return for part 2?

The first season of The Nevers was actually split into two parts on HBO Max because the pandemic shut down production on the series. Instead of waiting until the full season was ready to go, the network broke the season into two parts.

Each part consists of six episodes. The Nevers will be taking a break after the sixth episode of the series is released on Sunday, May 16.

We expect that The Nevers will return for the second half of the season sometime in the fall or winter of 2021. HBO has not confirmed when the show will return, but it doesn’t make sense to hold the episodes that long if they’re finished with production.

According to a report from hbothenevers.com, The Nevers wrapped production in November 2020. So, we could definitely see the rest of the season later this year.

The Nevers season 2 release date

Assuming The Nevers season 2 is ordered at HBO Max, it’s probably going to be a long time until we see the new season.

With the second half of the season coming soon, HBO Max has bought itself a little bit of time to figure out what’s going on with the second season and shorten the gap between the end of season 1 and the beginning of season 2.

At the earliest, I’d say that we could see the new season arrive in spring of 2022. That’s a pretty bold prediction considering the series hasn’t been renewed yet.

A more conservative prediction would be summer or fall of 2022. That’s probably much more likely given the current production situation.

So, for now, expect to see the new season sometime in 2022. We’ll share any information about the release date as soon as we find out.

The Nevers season 2 cast

HBO Max hasn’t confirmed the season 2 cast yet, but we have to imagine all or most of the main cast would return for season 2. We’ll have to wait and see how the first season ends, of course, before we know who could return, though.

I have to imagine that Laura Donnelly, Olivia Williams, Amy Manson, Ann Skelly, Tom Riley, James Norton, Pip Torrens, Denis O’Hare, Rochelle Neil, Nick Frost, and more would be back for the new season.
