The day has come on Dynasty Season 4 for the Falliam wedding, and it wouldn’t be a Carrington occasion without a business transaction, a party crasher, and a possible casualty.

Fallon and Liam’s big day kicks off with the bride choosing her shoes since their nuptials have been moved from a church to the manor lawn. Of course, riding that wave of bad luck from their unfortunate rehearsal dinner, Fallon takes a tumble on her heels and injures her ankle.

Naturally, the setback sets the tone for the festivities, which finds Blake looking down the barrel of a bad deal and everyone in his vicinity looking to take advantage of his downturn in success. Alexis and Jeff’s latest coup makes for the perfect alliance for Dominique’s smoking gun.

However, what would a wedding be without an uninvited guest to spice things up? Fallon and Liam’s wedding takes an unexpected turn that leaves us with another shocking cliffhanger. But one thing that’s not shocking? Fallon’s original song is a definite banger.

Dynasty Season 4, Episode 2 power rankings

Warning: Beware of spoilers from Dynasty Season 4, Episode 2 beyond this point.

1. Alexis

If we were ranking the characters on their morality, Alexis would hover somewhere in the middle, where she usually lives. She blows her good graces with Fallon when the bride overhears Alexis and Jeff feuding with Blake over millions of dollars and ownership of the manor. But in the same breath, Alexis successfully pulls off her scheme to beat Blake at his own game, and with a new ally in her corner, it’s only looking up from here.

2. Dominique

In the Dynasty Season 4 premiere, Dominique was concerned with her past, namely her heritage as a Carrington. She discovers her father left her a mysterious item in a safe deposit box. That item? The mineral rights to the manor, meaning she owns everything under the manor, should there be anything valuable buried beneath the house. When Blake declines to buy the rights from her, she teams up with Alexis and, to his ignorance, Jeff.

3. Fallon

You’d think on Fallon’s wedding day she would hold a bit more power, but our girl found herself in the center of her parents and their collective and respective drama. Not to mention, she hurt her ankle, and that’s just not what you want on your wedding day. She and Liam choose to leave their big to-do in favor of an intimate ceremony at her high school theatre, the last place that truly made her happy.

Well, now she has some not-so-happy memories to add to those past highlights. After Sam pronounces them husband and wife, she and Liam share a quiet moment together before he leaves to grab the champagne. Evan, having already stabbed Kirby, lurks up on Fallon and holds a knife to her throat. Luckily, Liam returns and Blake realizes where Fallon ran off to at the right moment. Blake tackles Evan off the stage, though both of their fates are uncertain.

4. Adam

We’re ashamed to admit that Adam sort of took his power back this week. After learning Anders was sniffing around his past in Montana, Adam meets with Shelly in Atlanta and discovers Anders was looking to pin him for his adoptive mother’s death. However, Anders was one step ahead Adam and, yes, Anders found Adam kneeling over Kirby with a stab wound, but he’s in a better position than you would think. Also, we don’t know what became of Shelly in the stable loft…

5. Blake

Forget losing out on lots of oil. Forget not being able to pay back a $100 million loan. Forget losing the respect of his daughter for asking her for money to pay back the loan. Even forget having his home taken out from under him. Blake’s power slipped through his fingers when he and Cristal stopped co-existing on the same page. He selfishly asks Cristal to ask her father for a loan, which pushes her right back to Father Collins. If he’s alive, Blake has got quite the mess to clean up.

Honorable Mentions:

  • So, Blake is not dead because that’s not possible. But does Evan die in the theatre fight? That would be an intense mark on Fallon’s karma for both Trixie and Evan’s lives to be on her conscience. Let’s hope this wedding has zero casualties.
  • What’s up with Culhane? He’s just kind of vibing without a storyline, helping Sam with his romantic woes, trying to convince Jeff to move into the manor… Okay?
  • Speaking of Sam, what’s going on with the back and forth with Ryan? One minute, he doesn’t trust him, then he’s suddenly begging for another chance. Right now, it seems like Ryan’s a good guy, but we’re not putting our suspicions to bed yet.
  • It’s crazy (and hilarious) that Fallon has the talent to write and perform a song like “More Than Me” and hasn’t bought herself a music career. Shout out to Liz for a truly beautiful moment that was perfect for Fallon and Liam!
