Looking to watch Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist Season 2, Episode 13 live? Join us for the details on where you can catch it, what to expect, and why you won’t want to miss it.

Two things can be true at once: Every word here about wasted time still stands, and “Zoey’s Extraordinary Goodbye” wraps everything up in a way that almost—almost!—makes everything make sense.

It’s a case of the journey being rocky, yet leading viewers to a destination that’s simultaneously exactly what we figured might happen and not what we expected at all. That’s the only teaser for the Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist Season 2 finale we’re giving in terms of analyzing it. You’ll have to check back here after it airs for a full breakdown.

Obviously, the main storyline that needs to be resolved (and for good this time, for the love of God) in Episode 13 is the whole love triangle (or insert geometric shape here). The other, more pressing concern, is what these 13 episodes have had to say about loss and how it has affected our main character.

How to watch the Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist Season 2 finale live online

With Max set to leave for New York with Rose, is he the “Extraordinary Goodbye” that the episode title refers to? Or is it someone else? You’ll have to tune in to find out!

The “decision of her life” referred to in the caption on the episode trailer (above) may or may not be what you think it is. Regardless of what outcome you’re hoping for, it’s definitely worth a watch.

You don’t want to miss some of the twists and turns the Season 2 finale takes…And at the risk of sounding like a record so beyond broken there are no words left, some of these heart songs are to die for.

The final number, while completely different in tone, ranks right up there with “American Pie” from last season’s finale. Comparing the two episodes in terms of quality doesn’t quite work. But what we can say is the biggest difference between the first season finale and the Season 2 finale is while we thought “Zoey’s Extraordinary Dad” was such a perfect ending, we would’ve been OK if it was a series finale, “Zoey’s Extraordinary Goodbye” will leave you desperate for more.

It’s a very bold move to throw such a huge cliffhanger in at the end of a season. After all, in today’s world of television, a renewal is never guaranteed.

Before seeing the Season 2 finale, we might have even said it was foolish on the level of Chris Carter ending The X-Files Season 11 open-ended, even after Gillian Anderson had said, repeatedly, before that final script was even in her hands that she was done. But honestly? The closing moments of Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist are absolutely brilliant.

No matter where you land on the whole Team Max versus Team Simon thing, we truly hope you can appreciate the how of it all, the growth for Zoey (finally!), and…[spoiler redacted]. If not, we’re here for a healthy debate…after the show.
