CBS has unveiled its fall 2021 schedule, and there are a lot of changes coming. SEAL Team Season 5 is happening, but it’s only getting a limited linear run.

The good news is Bravo Team will get another outing. The bad news is that it’s not all going to air on the Eye network. Instead, SEAL Team Season 5 is going to move to Paramount+ after a limited linear run.

Our show is also getting a new night and timeslot. Instead of airing its limited run on Wednesdays, the series is moving to Sunday nights after The Equalizer and NCIS: LA. Yes, that means a 10/9c timeslot on a Sunday, potentially running later when there is the football on. Sundays are a tricky night, but as this is a limited run, it’s not too surprising.

It’s not exactly clear just how many episodes will air on the network, according to the report from TVLine. However, previous reports suggested four episodes before moving over to Paramount+ where it would air the rest of its season. It will likely stick with a weekly release schedule on Paramount+ due to the way the show is filmed. Otherwise, there will be a huge break waiting for a binge-watch drop.

SEAL Team Season 5 isn’t the only change on the CBS fall 2021 schedule

After SEAL Team has its limited run, SWAT will take over that Sunday night timeslot. At first, SWAT will air on Fridays at 8/7c, taking MacGyver‘s place. When SWAT changes, the Friday timeslot will be for an unscripted show.

NCIS is also on the move after 18 seasons in the Tuesday night timeslot. It’s heading to Mondays at 9/8c, taking All Rise‘s timeslot! This is partly to help with the newest NCIS spin-off, NCIS: Hawaii, and partly to give CBS an FBI Tuesday.

As for Bull, that’s moving to Thursdays at 10/9c. FBI is moving to 8/7c on Tuesdays to act as a lead-in for new spin-off FBI: International.
