Outer Banks Season 2 coming to Netflix this summer

Hey Pogues, good news! Outer Banks Season 2 is on the way. Fans won’t have to wait much longer to hang out with John B, Sarah Cameron, and the rest of the crew. When will the show premiere on Netflix?

The good news is Netflix announced Outer Banks Season 2 is headed to the streamer this summer. However, the bad news is the lack of a specific release date for the premiere. This announcement will be enough to hold fans over until Netflix releases the actual date with a corresponding trailer.

Despite the lack of a release date, Netflix released a first look at Season 2 through a series of images. Two of the stills feature John B and Sarah. One is a shot of the couple on the beach in what we can presume to be the Bahamas. The other picture has the couple distressed and on the run, which is never a good sign.

The other images focus on the rest of the characters in the OBX. The Cameron family is dressed in black, which probably means it takes place at a funeral for Sarah, who is presumed dead. There is an image of Pope, JJ, and Kiara conversing at school and a still of JJ and Kiara jumping over a fence. Are they on the run as well?

Outer Banks Season 2 details

Outer Banks Season 2 will take place in two locations. One setting will be the OBX, where the Pogues will deal with the fallout from the alleged deaths of John B and Sarah. Remember that the community does not know John B and Sarah survived the storm.

The other setting will be the Bahamas, where John B and Sarah are headed to after being picked up by a cargo ship. The gold from the Royal Merchant is in the Bahamas so the Pogues will look to reclaim what was stolen from them by Ward Cameron.
