Zack Snyder’s zombie movie Army of the Dead is now streaming on Netflix, will you be watching it? The film seems like an action-packed adventure that could entertain the entire family. But is it appropriate for kids? What’s the movie rated and what for?

Army of the Dead stars Dave Bautista, Ella Purnell, Theo Rossi, and Ana de la Reguera, among others. The story follows a group of mercenaries who are planning the ultimate heist…in the middle of a zombie apocalypse.

Movie fans have long been waiting to watch this one! It was announced over a decade ago, it spent years in “development hell” and finally Netflix bought rights to it in 2019. Now, it has finally arrived!

However, every kid is different. Maybe a 12-year-old can handle a little action and violence. Well, think again. The movie is rated R for sexual content, gore, language throughout, graphic nudity, and strong bloody violence. Yeah…maybe not the movie for our preteens.
