Will Netflix’s Army of the Dead be available on Blu-ray, DVD, and On Demand?

Army of the Dead is now streaming on Netflix and playing in select theaters, but will the Zack Snyder zombie movie become available on Blu-ray, DVD, and On Demand? Here’s what we know!
Zombie flicks never seem to go out of style. But they do need to stand out from the growing list of apocalypse movies out there. So far, most recent zombie movies do have some sort of fresh spin, including Army of the Dead.
The film was announced over a decade ago, but production didn’t get working on it until years later. Finally, Netflix snagged streaming rights. The movie received a theater release on May 14, 2021, and as of May 21, 2021, it is streaming on Netflix.

To watch the movie, you’ll need to either find a showtime at a theater near you or get a Netflix subscription! But how about on Blu-ray or even On Demand if you don’t want to go to the movies and don’t have access to Netflix?

Unfortunately, though Netflix does release disc copies of its most popular hit shows, the streaming titan is very particular about its movies. Simply put, Netflix original movies are exclusive. We’re lucky the movies are even in theaters –this is so they can qualify for awards.
That said, chances are we will not see Army of the Dead available outside of Netflix or a movie theater, and it’ll only be available in theaters for a short amount of time. If you’d like to watch it, again, you’ll need an account.
Why do you enjoy disc copies? For me, it’s the bloopers, deleted scenes, and extra bonus footage. That’s always fun to watch.
