The ever-expanding American Horror Story universe has added yet another Hollywood icon to its number via American Horror Stories.

Danny Trejo, known for his roles in HeatFrom Dusk Til DawnBreaking Bad, and more, has reportedly joined the cast of the upcoming FX on Hulu AHS spin-off series, which is aptly titled American Horror Stories.

Fans were able to catch a glimpse of Trejo and several other actors filming key scenes for the episodic anthology series at the Los Cerritos Center in California yesterday, which was specially decorated for an upcoming Christmas-themed episode.

Who will Trejo play? An evil Santa Claus! Those who were lucky enough to witness filming spotted the veteran actor dressed as Father Christmas, complete with black leather gloves and a stained undershirt.

Who else is in the cast of American Horror Stories?

A variety of other, much younger actors will be starring opposite Trejo in the fourth episode of Stories, including, but not limited to: Riverdale star Charles Melton (who also happened to make a brief appearance in American Horror Story: Hotel), Glee staple Kevin McHale, up-and-coming actor Nico Greetham, as well as Pose alum Dyllón Burnside. Their characters were seen being chased by mall security after terrorizing Trejo’s terrifying faux Santa.

Meanwhile, the cast of the first three episodes will include the likes of Paris Jackson, Kaia Gerber, Sierra McCormick, Matt Bomer, Merrin Dungey, and Madison Bailey, with more additions to be unveiled as filming continues.

When does American Horror Stories premiere?

Fans will be pleased to hear that the AHS spin-off is making its debut in July! The first two episodes, set at the infamous Murder House, are set to air back-to-back on the FX on Hulu streaming platform as part of a two-hour premiere event (exact date TBA.)

FX Chairman John Landgraf also confirmed that American Horror Story: Double Feature, the highly anticipated 10th season of the main show, will premiere the week after Horror Stories concludes its first season in late August.
