There was a death, a wedding, and a father meeting his daughter for the first time. Here are the important moments from the SEAL Team Season 4 finale.

Like the majority of SEAL Team finales (Season 3 was different due to the pandemic), this one started with the team still on deployment but saw them get back home. That is apart from one person, who is definitely going to be sadly missed.

There were some major moments throughout the episode. Each of the main characters had something big happen, wrapping up a lot of the storylines from the season. There are still a few things open for SEAL Team Season 5, but this season ended with some closure for a few characters that we desperately needed.

It’s time to break down the biggest moments from the SEAL Team Season 4 finale.

Who died on the SEAL Team Season 4 finale?

We knew Bravo Team would experience a devastating loss. After the RPG hit from the previous episode, it was clear that something was likely to happen to him. The team got back from another mission to Davis sharing the bad news.

Full Metal didn’t make it after everything Clay and Jason had done. It was a devastating loss, but one that also continues to show the authenticity of this series. SEAL Team isn’t afraid to make us cry our hearts out just like the brothers did.

Clay looked like he was breaking up with Stella

When everyone got back home, Clay had a decision to make. He and Stella wanted what Ray and Naima had, and then their marriage ended up on the rocks. It was scary for Clay and Stella, and we could see Clay questioning a few things.

After getting back to the airport, Clay questioned their relationship. It certainly looked like he was going to break up with her, but he surprised everyone by proposing. This time for real!

Stella said yes, and we ended the SEAL Team Season 4 finale with a wedding.

Sonny got a chance to meet his daughter

While Clay and Stella got married, we got a clip of Sonny in Texas to meet his daughter for the first time. After previous episodes with him wondering if he should just stay out of his daughter’s life, he realized that he couldn’t do that after all.

There are still a lot of questions about him and Davis though. At the end of the episode, Sonny is thinking about quitting as a SEAL and moving to Texas full time. If he does that, he gets to be close to his daughter and be with Davis at the same time. Will he leave Bravo Team?

Ray had to make a choice about his trauma

Jason made it clear that Ray needed to face his trauma. Freezing on the battlefield was something far more than him thinking about home. Initially, Ray didn’t want to seek help. He didn’t want to admit weakness. Having PTSD isn’t a weakness, but it can certainly feel like it for the person struggling. I say that from experience, and I really appreciated the writing for Ray.

In the end, Ray made the decision to fight for his marriage. He told Naima what had happened and that he didn’t want to tell her the truth. He didn’t want to admit that he was scared and struggling mentally. There’s still some work to do, but these two are back on the right path.

Jason shows signs of something scary

Jason also faced his flaws. He wants to celebrate the lives of those who were killed in action. He also wants to be there for the guys who do make it back. In fact, it was him opening up that gave Ray the safe space to ask for help.

It should be something positive for Jason, but the final moments have me worried. He stops talking to Clay, mentioning the hit he took to the head. Is it possible that the show will go down the route of him suffering from the latest mission? Does he have a TBI?
