Top 10 movies at the Box Office: How much money did The Conjuring 3 make?

Thanks to more and more movies premiering in theaters, box office reports are back! The latest movie to hit the big screen is The Conjuring 3: The Devil Made Me Do It. How did it do against A Quiet Place 2 and Cruella?

It’s important to note that the competition at the box office isn’t exactly fair. Most movies are premiering in theaters while also streaming so you can watch from home. Others films are exclusively available in theaters, which are expected to collect a larger check from the box office.

A Quiet Place 2, for example, is only in theaters. It’ll become available on streaming in a few weeks. But, for now, those who want to see the movie need to go to a movie theater. This isn’t the case with The Conjuring 3, though.

The Conjuring is in theaters and also streaming on HBO Max, while Cruella is also in theaters and streaming (at Disney Plus). That said, simply keep this in mind when we reveal the top 10 movies.

  4. Spirit Untamed: $6.2 million
  5. Raya and the Last Dragon: $1.3 million
  6. Wrath of Man: $1.2 million
  7. Spiral: $890 thousand
  8. Godzilla vs. Kong: $463 thousand
  9. Demon Slayer: Mugen Train: $457 thousand
  10. Dream Horse: $230 thousand

It’s impressive how close behind A Quiet Place 2 is to The Conjuring 3, since it premiere on May 28, 2021. The movie has so far gathered $138.6 million worldwide.

The Conjuring universe is very popular with horror movie fans, had it only premiered in theaters I believe its number would be a lot higher. It’ll be interesting to see how it does next week.
