The highly anticipated Marvel series Loki is now streaming on Disney Plus. Do you hope to watch it with the whole family, but aren’t sure it’s appropriate for kids? Here’s what we know!

Ever since it was first announced, Marvel fans have been looking forward to the release of Loki on Disney Plus. It suffered a few delays, but it has finally arrived. If you’re anything like my family, you all enjoy watching all things Marvel together, but should you add Loki to this list?

Loki follows the God of Mischief shortly after he escaped using the tesseract. He is stopped by the TVA, the Time Variance Authority, an organization that monitors the timeline to keep things and events stabled.

The TVA make Loki an offer, to help them stop a big threat or be erased from existence.

Just from that quick synopsis, it already seems like a very fun series, and critics agree! In fact, they share that older kids will love it. So who all should see it?

Should kids watch Loki on Disney Plus?

Loki is rated PG-14, so a slightly bigger rating than the Marvel movies, which hold a PG-13 rating. That said, if your kiddos enjoyed the Marvel Cinematic Universe, I don’t see why they can’t handle the Disney Plus series.

However, you know your kid best! Please note I’m not an expert and this is only a suggestion. There will be violence and crude humor, but not much worse than what we’ve seen in the MCU movies or even WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Solider.

Moms shares that kids will love the “naughty younger brother” vibe and humor. The series is also action-packed, with plenty of scenes the kids will find entertaining. Will you be watching with the family?
