General Hospital actor Wes Ramsey supposedly exits from the soap, but has he really?
It’s being reported that General Hospital actor, Wes Ramsey, has made his final appearance on the ABC soap. The news came after the new cover of Soap Opera Digest revealed a pic of the actor saying that he was out. That’s when the news spread like wildfire.
His character of Peter August, aka Henrik Faison, was supposedly killed off recently after he was pushed down a flight of stairs by Dr. Finn. Dr. Finn and Elizabeth covered his death up by apparently disposing of his body. They are currently keeping their secret to themselves for now.
While it did appear that Peter had finally met his demise, viewers are not so convinced that he is really dead. Most expected that he would eventually rise back up and seek his revenge. However, this recent report that Ramsey is indeed gone from the soap seems like it is true after all.
General Hospital fans are thrilled to hear this. Peter was not the most liked character on the show. In fact, they have been waiting for quite a while to have him gone, especially after he killed fan-favorite Franco Baldwin and terrorized a pregnant Maxie.
Did General Hospital really kill Peter August off for good?
With the major soap outlets reporting that Wes Ramsey has made his exit, it seems to be a sure thing, right? However, the actor himself has not made any statements just yet on his supposed exit. In addition, GH hasn’t said anything either. Could that be an indication that it’s not as it seems?
It does seem likely that Peter will somehow rise from the grave and come back eventually. Ramsey could be out for now and end up coming back later on. Finn wasn’t shown actually checking himself to see if Peter was really dead. It was Liz who checked him out and called him dead.
As for Peter’s body, it wasn’t shown what the two did with him. Did they stash Peter somewhere in the woods? Bury him? They should have just left him in the stairwell, but they seemed to indicate that he was moved and wouldn’t be found.
The writers at General Hospital could pull a “Roger Howarth switch” by killing the evil Peter and have Ramsey come back as a twin, or as in Howarth’s case, as a completely different character with the same face.
Do you think Wes Ramsey has truly exited? Would you like to see him come back as someone else? Let us know!
General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC.
