Debuting in January 2020, The Owl House quickly captured the hearts of viewers becoming a top-five cable animated program among Disney’s key demographics and racking up more than 58 million views on Disney Channel’s YouTube!

Needless to say, fan anticipation over The Owl House season 2 remains at an all-time high and viewers are even more eager to know when the series will be coming to Disney Plus for their streaming enjoyment!

All of your favorite voice actors are back this season including Sarah-Nicole Robles as Luz, Wendie Malick as Eda and Alex Hirsch as King and Hooty. Also back this season are Matthew Rhys as Emperor Belos, Issac Ryan Brown as Gus, Tati Gabrielle as Willow, Mae Whitman as Amity and Cissy Jones as Lilith.

The Owl House season 2 synopsis

Interestingly, Disney has not released a formal synopsis for The Owl House‘s second season. What is known is that the season picks up right where season 1 came to an end with Luz left struggling with feelings of guilt over Eda losing her powers. This sets her off in search of a lucrative bounty to help the Owl House, the first of what will be many crazy adventures this season.

Is The Owl House season 2 on Disney Plus?

Unfortunately, those hoping to catch the new season of The Owl House on Disney Plus are going to have to stick to Disney Channel for the latest episodes of the show. This is because The Owl House season 2 is not currently available for streaming on Disney Plus, but that doesn’t mean the season won’t eventually be making its way to Disney Plus!

The Owl House season 2 Disney Plus release date

At this time, Disney Plus has not yet confirmed a release date for The Owl House season 2, but it looks like we could be in for quite an unexpectedly long wait.

Season one of The Owl House arrived on Disney Plus on Oct. 30, 2020, two months after the season came to an end on Disney Channel. Should Disney stick to this release strategy, it’s likely we’ll have to wait until after the show’s second season finishes airing on Disney Channel before the next season arrives on Disney Plus.

Considering that season 2 kicked off on June 12 and is expected to consist of 21 episodes, it’s looking like the show could end up airing through the fall. In fact, should the season air uninterrupted with new episodes airing weekly, we’re anticipating the season could be airing through October.

Should season 2 indeed conclude this October, we’re anticipating The Owl House season 2 will arrive on Disney Plus sometime in December 2021!
