What happens to Rose and Anna in Black Summer season 2?

Black Summer season 2 is now streaming on Netflix and one of the character fans were most worried about after season 1 is Rose (Jaime King). What happens to Rose at the end of season 2?
Just in time for the summer, Black Summer season 2 has premiered on Netflix. The wait for the highly anticipated season was worth it! Season 2 jumps right into the action and doesn’t stop to catch its breath.
I love how this season keeps audiences on their toes more than season 1. The episodes take turns featuring sequences from the past, present, and future, but it’s never difficult to keep up thanks to the carefully executed storytelling.
Another thing to love is how fans get even more scenes from the point-of-view of the undead. This is one of the reasons why Netflix’s Black Summer stands out from other post-apocalyptic shows and movies.
We get to go inside the minds of these zombies, and are even able to get an idea of what they’re thinking. Because, at times, it truly does seem as if they’re thinking. In the first episode, for example, one zombie stares at his own reflection and appears to be lamenting his state.
Perhaps, in a later season, we’ll learn more about the undead. But for now, most of the focus is on the living, and the living are now appearing to be a bigger threat.
One of our favorite characters is Rose, a truly tough mom on one mission and one mission only: Keep her daughter Anna (Zoe Marlett) alive. Do Rose and Anna make it out of Black Summer season 2 alive?
Does Rose die in Black Summer season 2?
This goes without saying, but there are spoilers ahead! Finish binge-watching the season before you read on.
Fortunately, Rose does not die. She survives the second season. There were many close calls, but Rose is still alive when the season ends. However, she is injured. Not fatally injured, but her leg is so hurt that she’s unable to stand.
It’s very possible for Rose’s wound to get infected, which could kill her. But, for now, Rose is alive.
In the final moments of the season, Rose appears to ignore her daughter, Anna. This could be because Anna didn’t get on the plane and instead went back to her mom. I love how Anna decided to stay with Rose, and I’m sure Rose is, too, but, more than anything, Rose wanted her daughter on the plane. So I do understand why Rose is upset.
