Does SPOILER die in Black Summer season 2?

Netflix’s Black Summer season 2 gives us everything we loved about the first season and more. But that, unfortunately, means more death. What happens to Rose, Anna, Sun, and Spears in the new season? Who dies?
Black Summer season 2 is now streaming on Netflix and the zombie horror wasted no time getting right into things. A lot has changed, though. For starters, it’s no longer summer. It’s winter!
That may have slowed the zombies down a bit, but survivors are also not moving too quickly. It’s cold, too cold, so the struggle to survive continues. However, it seems like the living are a bigger threat than the undead. There are many merciless and unnecessary deaths that happen.
Going in, fans were mostly worried about Anna and Rose. The mom and daughter duo reunited last season, but we didn’t really see much after they ran to each other. Time has passed and it seems like the two have caught up and Rose has taught Anna many survival skills.
We’re glad that Anna and Rose will see another season (if the series is renewed for season 3). Sun also got very lucky and is off to a new adventure, wherever that may be. But what about Spears? Spoilers ahead!
Does Spears die in Black Summer season 2?
Spears (Justin Chu Cary) is my favorite character, so his fate in season 2 was rough. Yes, he does die.
When Spears finally catches up to Rose and Anna, he’s severely wounded. Anna catches on quickly, she knows Spears will die soon. Rose appears to be in denial. Although her priority is Anna, she does still care about Spears and is thankful for his role in finding Anna.
Unfortunately, when Rose leaves the room, Spears asks Anna to kill him. Spears doesn’t want to die like the others or turn into one more undead.
The three main ladies remain, Anna, Rose, and Sun! What’s ahead for them in season 3? We’ll keep you posted as soon as we learn more about the potential season.
