Ranking the best Fast and the Furious characters

This week is the 20th anniversary of the first The Fast and the Furious installment. Let’s look back at some of the best characters in the franchise’s history.

Anybody who knows me knows that I have a passionate love for the Fast and the Furious franchise. Something about Dominic Torreto and his deep voice and Paul Walker’s oversized t-shirts made me fall in love.

I believe that the first one is genuinely a perfect movie and ranks as one of my all-time favorite films. Within the development of each film, the chases got crazier, the stakes got higher, and the explosions got bigger. The franchise, for some, has gone far too off the rails, but you know what? I am still here for it.

I enjoy the approach they take to these movies. They understand that they all started off racing cars and stealing DVDs and went to potentially going to space in F9. These films are the perfect blockbuster popcorn movies that the average filmgoer loves to watch on a giant screen.

I recently rewatched all the films preparing for F9, and I thought about who the best characters are. Of course, most people will look from the outside and pick the favorites, but I wanted to dig deep and see who stands out amongst the family that has elevated the team and the story that comes along with it.

So without further ado, here are my top six Fast and the Furious characters.
