What will you be watching this weekend? Between movies in theaters and films available on streaming services, you’ve got plenty of choices!

With the wealth of streaming apps available and theaters beginning to open up more and more, there are so many new movies released weekly. I wanted to sort through them all and find some of the best options for you to watch this weekend.

There have been some fantastic movies that have been released in 2021. With the summer officially started, theaters are beginning to bring out the blockbuster popcorn movies we all know and love.

New movies in theaters

The latest installment of the Fast and Furious franchise is hitting theaters this weekend. After taking off Furious 7 and Fate of the Furious, Justin Lin is back in the director’s chair. In the movie, we find out that Dom has a brother and is trying to take down the family for good.

We’ve seen Liam Neeson take on Batman, face off against armies of men, but now he is faced with the task of saving miners with possibly his biggest obstacle yet, nature, in the Netflix movie The Ice Road. 

The Seventh Day is the brand new horror movie directed by Justin P. Lange starring Guy Pearce. While the reviews have been poor out of the gate, I am intrigued to see what audiences think of the movie.

Fresh off its debut at the Tribeca Film Festival, False Positive debuts on Hulu this week. The film stars Justin Theroux, Pierce Brosnan, and Ilana Glazer which is about a couple (Glazer/Theroux) who finally find the perfect fertility doctor, or so they think.

By now, we all know who Wolfgang Puck is, but the brand new Disney+ Original movie highlights the obstacle courses placed in front of him and how he became the household name he is today.
