Better Call Saul season 6: What’s next for Nacho?

When it comes to our favorite Better Call Saul characters, Nacho and Kim are at the top of the list! But Better Call Saul season 6 is not promising a good ending for Nacho. On the contrary, we fear for his life. What will happen to the character when the series returns?
Nacho Verga (Michael Mando) and Kim Wexler (Rhea Seehorn) quickly became fan favorites, but they come with many questions. Mainly, fans wondered why neither is mentioned in the original series Breaking Bad on AMC.
Better Call Saul serves as a prequel to the hit AMC series Breaking Bad. Now, we love Jimmy McGill aka Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk). He is the main reason fans tuned in to watch Better Call Saul.
We know Jimmy will survive the events, but what happens to him after Breaking Bad? Better Call Saul teases that it will reveal where Jimmy is in present time. So, as much as we love him, we know his story will come full circle. And we are truly prepared for the worst, after all, we can’t say he doesn’t have the worst coming.
However, what about Kim and Nacho? We are in the dark about their fates! We discuss theories about what happens to Kim, HERE. Now let’s dig into Nacho.
What will happen to Nacho in Better Call Saul season 6?
In Breaking Bad, HITC reminds us that, while Nacho doesn’t appear in the series, he and Lalo Salamanca are mentioned by Jimmy in season 2. But this doesn’t necessarily mean he is alive during Breaking Bad. And based on what Nacho has gotten himself into when we last saw him, things are looking good for him.
Ultimately, we want Nacho to escape this life, run away, and start over. It’s what he wants. But even Nacho knows that he is in too deep. He would also never run away. He needs to protect his family.
That said, I don’t see a way out for Nacho. My guess is that he won’t make it out of season 6 alive. I hope I’m wrong, though! What do you think will happen to Nacho in the upcoming season?
