By Sandy C.
It’s Christmas in July at FanSided and here we take a look at some of our favorite holiday TV episodes (and where to watch them). Did yours make the list?
When you think of best holiday TV episodes, sitcoms and comedies may come to mind. At the top of your list, there’s probably a Christmas episode from The Office and one from Friends. On my top three, there’s also one episode from New Girl.
While these shows did make our list (how could they not), we did throw in some variety such as 30 Rock and Grey’s Anatomy, to make the list more fun.
Below, we also share how you can watch the episodes to we can all get into the “holiday spirit” this Christmas in July! Because, the summer may be for vacations and outdoor activities, but we’d be lying if we said we don’t miss the holiday season. This is why we love to celebrate Christmas in July — and hope you do, too!
Please note that we love each of these for many reasons so we’re not listing them in any particular order.
Where to watch the best holiday TV episodes
The Office season 2, episode 10, “Christmas Party”
First, we have “Christmas Party” from The Office. This episode is at the top of many lists for best holiday TV episodes and it’s easy to see why. For starters, it features an awkward “Secret Santa” gone wrong, which is always fun to see.
Watch “Christmas Party” on Peacock.
It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia season 6, episode 13, “A Very Sunny Christmas”
The Paddy gang is in full holiday spirit and we love to see it! This episode features a very different Christmas from what the gang is used to as they learn to love and appreciate the holidays.
Watch “A Very Sunny Christmas” on FX on Hulu.
The Office season 7, episode 11 and episode 12, “Classy Christmas” Part 1 and Part 2
From the Christmas group photo to that epic snowball war between Dwight and Jim, there’s so much to love about this episode!

30 Rock season 3, episode 6, “Christmas Special”
Who doesn’t love a good Christmas Special? And when great comedy geniuses are behind it, you know it’s going to be great. the 30 Rock holiday special is a personal favorite.

Friends season 7, episode 10, “The One With The Holiday Armadillo”
Serious questions: Is there anyone who hasn’t watched this episode? Or at least heard of it? I feel like, even if you aren’t a fan of Friends or haven’t watched the entire series, you know which episode I’m talking about. If you don’t, you’re missing out.
Watch “The One With The Holiday Armadillo” on HBO Max.
Full House season 6, episode 12, “A Very Tanner Christmas”
Those who grew up watching Full House will love the nostalgic feels this episode delivers. Not to mention, you’ll miss the holiday season!
Watch “A Very Tanner Christmas” on Hulu.
Grey’s Anatomy season 2, episode 12, “Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer”
Speaking of nostalgic, why not hit rewind on Grey’s Anatomy and watch one of its best episodes to date? I’m of course talking about “Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer.” It features the original, beloved cast. And after so many departures and deaths, it’s nice to go back.
Watch “Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer” on Netflix.
New Girl season 4, episode 11, “LAXmas”
Finally, there’s “LAXmas” from New Girl. The New Girl gang is getting ready to go their own way to celebrate the holidays. Some are going home, others on vacation, but, of course, things don’t go according to plan. They all find themselves trapped at the airport and make the best of it.
