The escape room is back! And you know the rules, you play the game or you die. This time, the room has gathered previous champions for Escape Room: Tournament of Champions. Where can you watch Escape Room 2 from home?

The first movie didn’t do so well with critics, sitting at Rotten Tomatoes with a 51% score, but there was a decent enough following for a sequel. While most don’t find a sequel necessary, many enjoy the genre and are ready for a fun ride.

Will you be watching Escape Room: Tournament of Champions? Now that the pandemic period is fading, more and more movies are premiering in theaters, but most are still debuting on the big screen and a streaming service.

That said, it can be confusing and tough keeping up with release dates. Below, we share where and when you can watch it in theaters or stream it from the comfort of your own home.

Can you stream Escape Room 2 from home?

Escape Room 2 is in theaters on Friday, July 16, 2021. The Escape Room sequel will have plenty of showtimes available in theaters near you.

Unfortunately, you’ll need to purchase movie tickets to watch this one! Escape Room: Tournament of Champions is a movie theater exclusive, which means it won’t be streaming on Netflix, HBO Max, or any other streaming service.

That is, not yet! Escape Room 2 is from Sony Pictures, and most of these movies end up streaming on Netflix at some point. Some examples include Peter Rabbit and Hotel Transylvania

It’s possible that it will be in movie theaters for several weeks before making its way to Netflix (or another streaming service). And if that’s the case, we’ll be sure to keep you posted as soon as we learn more.
