Why did Jessica Lange leave American Horror Story? (Is Jessica Lange in AHS: Delicate?)

Jessica Lange left the FX hit series American Horror Story in 2015 and, honestly, it hasn’t been the same since her departure. Will the scream queen ever return to American Horror Story? Fans are hoping Lange makes an appearance in the current season, AHS: Delicate.
A few years after stepping away from the franchise, Lange did return to AHS in Apocalypse in a small role. However, she has not been a series regular since leaving. Lange will always be the heart and soul of American Horror Story. And we’re not giving up hope of seeing her star, even if only for a cameo.
Is Jessica Lange in American Horror Story: Delicate?
Unfortunately, we really don’t believe so! Not only will Jessica Lange not star in the current season, but neither will other franchise favorites such as Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, and Kathy Bates. AHS: Delicate does star Emma Roberts in a main role, though. The star has been part of many American Horror Story seasons.
Additionally, Kim Kardashian stars in the current season. And her performance so far has been impressive! We can’t wait to see what the series has in store for us. But back to Jessica Lange.
According to Cheat Sheet, Lange hasn’t completely ruled out returning to the FX set, but, at this time, there aren’t any plans to do so. At least we’re glad she and Ryan Murphy are friends so we may see her in one of his projects one day.
