The Flash season 7 aired its final episode on July 20, 2021, so fans are eager to learn more about new episodes to come in season 8. Here’s what we know about it so far, including The Flash season 8 release date, and cast updates.

Barry Allen and the team gave fans an amazing season, and there’s more where that came from as the series is still going strong! This is something you can’t say about just any show. In fact, you can’t even say that for all shows based on comics, even those in the DCEU.

Remember, just because a series has a lot of seasons, doesn’t mean the show has amazing ratings. Yet, The Flash is one of the network CW’s best! That said, season 8 is a given, but what do we know about it?

When is The Flash season 8 coming out?

How long will we wait for the next season? Next year in 2022 or longer? Don’t worry, Flash fans, the new season will premiere in, well, a flash.

The Flash season 8 is set to arrive on Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2021, at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.

The Flash season 8 cast

Thanks to Deadline, we have an update! According to the source, the original cast Jesse L. Martin, Candice Patton, and Danielle Panabaker have closed new deals with Warner Bros. Television and are set to reprise their roles.

Main star Grant Gustin was already confirmed as his contract goes through next season.

As previously reported, the two main players who are out are Carlos Valdes and Tom Cavanagh.

Is The Flash season 8 the final season?

Deadline also shares that season 8 could be the final chapter for Barry Allen, but nothing has been confirmed just yet. We’ll be sure to keep you posted on this.
